Verse (Roman transliteration)
Translation
Day and night, dusk and dawn, winter and spring — time plays and life ebbs away. Yet the wind of hope does not release its grip.
The teaching
Time flows with indifferent consistency. The seasons cycle. Life reduces with every rotation. And yet, despite watching this happen, human beings cling to hope — not the wise hope of purposeful action, but the delusional hope that somehow our situation is the exception, that decline will spare us, that there will be time to do what matters later.
Living this today
Illustrative example: Choose a conversation you keep delaying and put a realistic time for it in your calendar. One message proposing a time is more concrete than another promise to do it next year.
